Annie, for the first time

Super Summer Theater at Spring Mountain Ranch presents Annie June 2011. Lucy is the lead character. No really, everyone around us watched or heard her more than the show. Our Lucy loved the musical Annie. She sang every song with enthusiasm. Her arms would rise and fall throughout each song especially when the orphans would sing their parts. She made friends quickly. At one point during the show she took off and bolted down the isle towards the stage. Aaron chased after her, but wondered what she would have done if he hadn't got her. Would she have ran on stage? Who knows. We had a delightful experience under the stars. Lucy's first play, first time seeing the stars, first time staying up til 11:30pm, first time singing to a large audience. I love seeing things for the first time from her eyes. Henry was a trooper. He was a little frightened because the sound was so loud. I couldn't have asked for a better evening with my wonderful family.

Little Swimmer

Aaron and I both love our Lucy. She loves the water. Our neighbors have a pool and have invited us over anytime to go swimming. Lucy has such a fun time playing with daddy. She is a die hard swimmer. She will jump in the water no matter the temperature of the water and with or without someone there to catch her (which is a little worrisome). We bought her an inflated pool tonight and she just couldn't wait to get in. She just climbed in and out of it while we pumped it up.

Lucy's newest phrases are: "ousy air r u..." translated: Mousy where are you? Every night we play that game. She loves it. "Oh, ma..." translated: Oh, man! She is so funny!

Aaron is off for 3 weeks before he starts his clinical in Cedar City. So he is playing Mr. Mom. He does a great job with Lucy and Henry. I love his willingness to serve our little family. I came home from work today and Lucy ran up to me saying.. Mommy, mommy and hugged my legs. I loved it.

Aaron has always loved watching TV or Movies especially when we can watch them together. Our latest TV show is America's Got Talent. It is something we both enjoy doing with each other.

Lucy is a fun little singer. We sing I am a Child Of God every night together. She knows the tune very well and all the words (at least in her language she does). I think Aaron and Lucy should sing a duet in Sacrament one of these days.

Ben visited us last night. He was one of Aaron's roommates at BYU. I liked him because he talked to me like I was a good friend of his. None of his other roomies took the time. He is stylish, intelligent, and is a world traveler. I love listening to his stories. We had a delightful visit, I must say.

I listen to this on my drive to Prison:
It's amazing how well my day goes. It is as if the Universe knows who I am and what I want and things flow to me in such a timely way. It is as if I'm dancing with the universe. Emergencies are non existant in my physical experience. The people that come to me are benefiting by their exposure to me. It is as if I have a secretary in the sky that is taking care of everything and just feeding it to me with such ease and grace and comfort that my day unfold so magnificently.
When I wake up in the morning, I am infused with the energy of well being. I am just glad to be alive. I can hardly wait to exercise my body and I am thankful for my children. When they awaken my children and spouse are joyful and happy to be alive. We have such fun interacting with one another. This is some of the most precious time of our day interacting with one another.
As I am making my way to different events of my day, it is always such a lovely time. I am so appreciative of all the wonderful people I have in my life. I am grateful for the spiritual support and the angelic help that is taking care of the details and making sure that this day is going to unfold in a magical way. I love seeing their attention to detail and I love seeing them eagerly finding more ways to make everything go comfortable. I love recognizing that they are helping me bring my life into balance.
I love being a wife. I love being a mom. I love getting into a space wherein I realize that I can deal with anything. I love connecting with the infinite power and knowledge of my life. I love knowing the benefit I offer to others. Most of all I love the joy of the unfolding. I love new surprises that come, my ability to move with them, and the inspiration that comes effortlessly. I love knowing that I can participate in anything I want to participate in. I love knowing I have infinite choices.

Teething already?? Precocious Henry.

Henry is 3 months old and his lower incisors are erupting all ready! Lucy was 5.5 months old when she got hers and I thought that was early. He is so so happy through all the construction going on in his little mouth.
Lucy decided to join in the fun. She is getting her second molars. They both have elevated temperatures. Peppermint oil on their feet works well to reduce the temps.

Homecoming

New Harmony for the weekend for Van Wagoner's homecoming. David and Carol's love for the gospel is refreshing. So much excitement and enthusiasm.

18 months and 3 months

Aaron and I spoke in Sacrament last week. My talk was on Character and Aaron's was on Gratitude. Geneva watched our kids during Sacrament. She did a better job than us! We might let her watch our kids all the time or learn what she did with them because it worked!

David and Carol returned home from their honorable mission in Romania yesterday! They were gone a short 18 months. What great examples they are to us. We love them and are so glad they are home. I made sure that we had flowers planted in the front yard before everyone arrived. I am grateful we did because David commented on them when he walked in.

My sweet dear Henry is 3 months old today! Aaron has found a giggle spot on his back ribs. It will bring a laugh to anyone who hears it. Tomorrow is Fast Sunday. We are blessing Henry at 9 am.
